Fed Up

Psalm 34:19 says, “The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.” A life following Jesus does not mean a life free from challenges, and it is no guarantee that the road will be easy. Belief in God means we have a shoulder to lean on, an Almighty Father who knew us before we were even in our mother’s womb, who created us with a plan and a purpose in mind. Our Christian faith means we can focus not on the temporary circumstances we face today, but on the eternal glory waiting for us in Heaven when our earthly life is over.

When you feel fed up, don’t give up; give it to God! You don’t have to be good enough, smart enough, strong enough or brave enough to face the obstacles in your way. Give every worry to God in prayer, every frustration to your Heavenly Father, and rest easy knowing His shoulders are broad enough, His strength and wisdom infinite enough, to take on anything you face and make it right. He is listening, He cares, and He is there.
