Mark 16:15 says, “He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’ ” Each of us is made for a certain job, a task given to us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We can either choose to stay in the shade where it’s supposedly safe, or we can dive straight into the purpose for which He created us. That requires some to go far from shore and some to stay in the near waters where life threatens to swamp those who don’t yet know God.
